When I was a kid I remember I used to play this game
But now it’s all so much more real since space invaders came
They’ve slipped past our defences, declared a liberated zone
Now their symbols are everywhere and the schools are full of clones
All subjects will be targeted from a very early age

Bombardment of your senses they’ll  make you understand
All the world now communicates in the language of the brand
And the choice of a new generation fits neatly in the mould
Revolution is a soft drink best left in the cold
To be a part of the one big family it’s important what you wear
But the family fun for everyone ain’t for everyone to share
